Basic
1. Deal the cards equally to all members of your party.
2. Hit the town, and try to find real-life guys who match the guys you've been dealt, or get real-life guys to do what your card asks. Each time you find a match, or get a guy to do what the card asks, you turn in that card.

Cards In The Deck
That Guy! Cards (38): Each card depicts a different type of guy you might find on your night out like, Mullet Guy, Sweaty Dancer Guy, or Too Old To Be There Guy.
Catty Cards (5): These cards let your Catty side come out. Each card illustrates a type of woman you might run across such as the Shouldn't Wear That Chick. Catty Cards serve as sort of a wild card. If you find a match to a Catty Card you not only turn that card in, you also get rid of another card in your hand by giving it to any other player in your group.
Command Cards (8): A player holding one of these cards must get a guy to do what the direction on the card states. For example, Make That Guy Dance With Your Friend or Make That Guy! Show You His Underwear.

|
| You'll need to decide on a way to determine when a player gets to turn in a card. There are a number of ways and your group should decide before you begin |
|
| Basic |
| Simply point out the match to another member of your party. If the member agrees, turn in the card. (This is great when you're just in the mood to hang out and bag on guys) |
|
| Outgoing |
Make players not only find the match but talk to him, too. (This is is a great way to meet guys. If you've gotta talk to the Hawaiian Shirt Guy, you might as well find the hot one!).
Make players bring the match back to the group.
Make players bring a match back and kiss the bride-to-be.
Make players get the match to buy them a drink
Make players get the match's phone number. (This gets interesting when the only match you can find is there with his wife/girlfriend).
You get the idea... Just have fun!

|
| Challenging |
| Each member is dealt a command card (in addition to their TG! Cards). A player gets rid of a card by not only finding a match, but also getting each match to do what her command card asks. |

Alternate Versions
|
| Drinking Game 1 (our lawyers recommend you drink milk...) |
| 1. Deal the cards equally to all players.
2. Each time a player points out a guy who matches a That Guy in their hand, or gets a guy to do what their That Guy! cards asks, the player may direct any other player, to drink.
3. If a player finds a match to a Catty Card, that player may direct the Entire Group to drink.
|
|
| Drinking Game 2 (Played while sitting at a table in a bar or club). |
| 1. Remove the command cards. Place the remaining shuffled cards face down.
2. Turn the top card over.
3. The first player to spot a match can direct any other player to drink (or the whole group).
4. Repeats steps 2-3.
5. If a Catty Card is turned up, the first player to find a match to it orders the next round of drinks, but the other players must pay for it.

| Bartender Game: (A few bartenders have e-mailed us with variations on the following): |
| Place a card in front of a girl at the bar. If she can get a matching guy to come over and buy her a drink (without leaving her seat or mentioning the game), the drink is on the house. (Submitted by KK - Dimples, Burbank, CA)
or
Charge girls for each card (a couple of bucks or whatever), then if the player finds her match and brings the guy up to the bar, they both get a shot or a well drink. (One insists she always tells the guys, that the drink is on the girl so the next round is on him, and sure enough more drinks are paid for later). (Submitted by numerous people. First: Allison - Beverly Hilton, Beverly Hills, CA)

Places To Play
In addition to the normal night club spots a few people have e-mailed us with alternative places they've played and had a great time.
The airport on layover/delays
Sorority events (We've had tons these submitted)
Amusement park while having to wait in line for a ride.
Sales conferences
State/County Fair
Family reunions
Home Depot (This was our personal favorite. Three girls in Nashville were bored on a Wed. evening, grabbed the deck and went to Home Depot and the winner actually finished in 18 minutes. So they re-dealt and played again.)
Have a different way to play, an interesting place you've played or a funny story you'd like to share we'd love to hear from you. e-mail us: suggestions@thatguygame.com
Thanks and have fun!
